Spherical Bearings

Our spherical bearings are manufactured using a one-piece race-type construction. Lubrication grooves and holes at 180 degrees provide a ready means of re-lubrication after installation, and various metals can be substituted for special applications. Bore sizes up through three inches are available.

Self Lubricating PTFE Liners and Dry Films are also available on many of our Spherical Bearings.

Self-Lubricating Rod End & Spherical Bearings

We also offer self-lubricating PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) fabric liners on most of our rod end and spherical bearing series. These self-lubricating bearings are specifically designed to eliminate the need for grease re-lubrication within a temperature range of -65 degrees to +300 degrees F on normal applications. This liner provides improved frictional characteristics without lubrication. When your application’s temperatures are expected to exceed the range shown or involve high loading, vibration, or high surface speed, please consult our engineering department for other available liners.

Large Bore Rod Ends

Standard offerings of our large Bore Rod Ends are 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and 2" bore sizes in plated low carbon steel or heat treated alloy steel configurations metal to metal or with PTFE liners. Males, females lefts and rights are available. We can also meet your custom requirements where variation from standard characteristics are necessary.
